Happy Cow Appreciation Day

Bet you didn't know that today is officially "Cow Appreciation Day". Yep. So in honor of cows everywhere, I dressed the kids in cow attire and headed to our store. Anyone (kids and adults) who comes into any Chick-fil-A today dressed in cow attire receives free food. How cool is that? Course, we never pay but we participated anyway! Lauren wore her cow outfit from last year that was a dress on her then but we added the pants to it this year since she's alot taller. I managed to squeeze Luke into Lauren's old mini moo outfit which was a 3-6 month size even though he's 6 1/2 months. He didn't seem to mind.

There were alot of "cows" when we got to the store around 11 today and lots of "non-cows" too. Mostly kids and teenagers, but I saw a few adults who accessorized with cow prints. Our balloon artist guy was there giving out balloon shaped animals to the kids. He made Lauren a special balloon art since she's the bosses daughter! She got a huge rainbow on a cloud.

This was our new marketing director Sarah's first big event. She did a great job! Lots of buzz inside with the Kid Cow, balloons, and cow bells ringing. Outside she rolled out the red carpet for the "herd" and had the spinning wheel going. So a lot of fun for everyone today.

There's still several hours left to receive a free meal at any Chick-fil-A around the country. All you have to do is dress up like the cow! Happy Cow Appreciation Day!
