Sibling Love

Luke got his first skinned knee the other day when we were outside playing. Our driveway has a slight slope so as he was toddling down it, he took a tumble and rolled into the grass. He was/is fine and shook it off quickly. Lauren, being the big sister and all, decided to help Luke with his boo-boo. She made sure he had a band-aid for each knee. What a sweet sister even if she usually jumps on him and knocks him down. She can be really sweet to him at times. She hugs on him and calls him her "baby". Luke loved the attention and Lauren loved being the big sister.

On Saturday, I looked in the living room to check on them because it was too quite. So that usually means they are into something they're not suppose to be into. But they weren't. Lauren had Luke by the hands and they were dancing. Lauren was the princess and Luke was the prince according to her--too sweet.

We've had spring break this week so it's been a little busy. The kids and I went to the zoo on Tuesday which was a beautiful day to go. They both loved it. Luke laughed at all the animals and Lauren loved the carousel. Tomorrow we head to the science museum with some friends from church. We've never been but have heard lots of great things. So we'll see. Hope you all have a great weekend.
