This past weekend we celebrated Luke's 3rd birthday although his actual birthday isn't until the 21st but everyone is way too busy by then. Anyway, he LOVES the Disney Cars movie so that's what we went with. Since Cars is still very popular, it was super easy to decorate and find cool/neat ideas for the kids.
The kids started off by coloring wooden race cars and then they all got a tattoo as homage to the Cars character Ramone who has a body art shop. Then the kids made license plates for their cardboard race cars. They had so much fun running around in their cars. Luke really liked to crash into everything and everyone. It was so fun to see them having such a good time. We were able to borrow some old tires and some Michelin flags from a nearby tire dealer. Mr. Moody even gave each kid their own Goodyear hat, blimp eraser, sticker sheet and koozie. Thanks Mr. Moody and Cousin Julia! :)
I had fun making the cake and food. The kids seemed to like the apple race cars and chocolate doughnut "tires" for Luigi's Casa de la Tires. Luke received lots of great gifts too: trains, cars, basketball, pjs, superhero toys and lots more. He definitely had an awesome party!
So happy early birthday Luke! We love you little boy and can't imagine life without you! We are blessed to call you our son and looked forward to many, many happy birthdays to come!

WOW!!! You are amazing. Maybe you should become a party planner in all your spare time. Love how you transformed your garage! It doesn't seem like three years ago that I was taking you dinner at Christmas. Happy Early B'day Luke!
I can't believe he is 3 either! Happy early Birthday to him! I love those apple and grape race cars. Those are adorable!
