Well we made it back from vacation this past Sunday. We all had a really great time visiting Myrtle Beach and seeing my family. The kids loved the beach. Lauren couldn't wait to go jump the waves and get messy in the sand building sand castles. Actually, she knocked over all the sand castles that were made, but it was still fun. She wasn't afraid of the water at all. In fact, she wanted to keep going out farther, but we reeled her in.Luke enjoyed the beach at sunset on most days. We sat him in the sand and he would move his feet back and forth trying to figure out what the sand was. Then he would grab a fist full or two of sand and try to eat it. Of course, we stopped him, but a few times he did make it to his mouth and suprisingly didn't cry about it. I guess that's how little boys are! :) He would fall asleep at the beach too. He can sleep through anything.

My mom, my sisters, and I got to do alot of shopping, just about everyday. It was so much fun! There were lots of places to shop and we found some great deals. I could easily be a shopaholic.I managed to maintain my weight despite the Krispy Kreme donuts, ice cream, and all the fun stuff you eat on vacation. It was nice to run/jog at the beach in the morning.

We are all extremely tired this week after vacation and traveling home for two days, but it was worth it. This week is busy for us too. We have gymnastics two days this week, Lauren starts her Mother's Day Out/preschool tomorrow, and Luke has his 9 month old pics taken tomorrow. Guess there's no rest for the weary!
