I know what you're thinking, wow two posts in one day....amazing! Anyway, this past Thursday we hosted a "fall festival" for some of our friends from church and their kids. It was alot of fun and alot of work! We held the party in our garage and brought home the two catering tents from our store (thank you CFA). The kids did a craft, colored, played games like ghost boowling, basketball, duck pond, pin-the-nose on the pumpkin, and a ring toss. We had face painting too and lots of yummy festival food: candy apples, orange zest cookies, popcorn balls, pretzel icing sticks, candy corn, hot apple cider and of course chicken nuggets. You can't call it our party unless there's chicken involved and our friends would be upset without it! Just kidding. I desperately tried to get a group shot, but with 11 kids ages 5 and under it was virtually impossible. I did manage to get 9 or so in one shot. Overall, it went really well. Maybe we'll try it again next year! Happy Fall! BTW, Luke is the Cookie Monster although he wouldn't keep his heapiece on and Lauren is Aeriel.
