About two Saturday's ago, the kids and I as well as Robert's cousin Julia and Aunt Ruth ventured out to the Renaissance festival. The kids weren't too sure about the atmosphere with all the fairies, elves, other costumed characters but they enjoyed several rides, games and a tour of the castle. We all rode a camel, a first for all of us. The kids really liked it.
Lauren loved being dressed as a princess and greeted the "Queen" with a curtsy. She liked going to the castle and stopped by the well on the front lawn and made a wish. Guess we picked that up from the Snow White movie!
