Olympian in Training

In the spirit of the Olympics, our future Olympian gymnast Lauren enjoyed her second class today. She learned how to jump different ways on the big trampoline today. Her class did the "balance beam" (even if it was only 6 inches off the floor). She was a little hesistant/cautious about the balance beam. Maybe a little uncordinate like her mom! :) Lastly, they did a mini obstacle course which included a flip, rolling over a large round foam drum, jumping on a exercise trampoline, and crawling through a tunnel.

She really has a lot of fun and wanted to keep playing even when class was over. In the pictures, you'll see that we still need to work on our leotard etiquette which doesn't seem to bother her! Sorry the pictures are a little dark. The lighting in the gym wasn't that great for pictures.
