Chattanooga Trip

Robert and I had a great quick trip to Chattanooga yesterday. We stayed in a Victorian train car at the Chattanooga ChooChoo hotel. I always enjoy visiting historic places and learning about different time periods. It's neat to think about all the different people who travelled through the terminal when it was a real station. The hotel lobby is the actual terminal of the old train station. Our room was the last car on the track but was right near all the shops and restaurants on the premises. We had dinner at the diner which was very nice. Then we just drove around the city looking around for a while. On Saturday, we enjoyed a big breakfast buffet and visited the model train museum then headed home. Just a quick trip, but it was nice to get away for a short while. We'll celebrate our anniversary "big" in November when we go on a cruise!! Chattanooga was fun (there is alot more stuff to do) and we will probably stay at the ChooChoo again with the kids next time.
