Snow Babies

This past Friday we encountered a little bit of wintry weather. So on Saturday morning, we decided to go outside and enjoy the 1-2 inches of snow that had fallen. We started getting ready around 9am. We put on several layers, jackets, boots, hats, and gloves and made it outside at 9:30am. (Thankfully, Lauren didn't ask to go to the bathroom once she was all dressed!). Even Luke made it outside for a few minutes and looked like a big blue blob. You could hardly see him in his snow suit.

Lauren liked the snow at first, but then decided to take her gloves off because they were wet. However, she continued to pick up the snow and try to move it. She and her daddy tried to make a little itty bitty snowman, but there wasn't enough snow. After about 20-30 minutes, Lauren was ready to go inside for hot chocolate! Although it took longer to get ready than it took for us to play outside, we still had alot of fun!
